About Us

A group of Dominicans who proudly volunteer to promote our culture and support our community in British Columbia.

1- Integrate all Dominicans in BC to preserve Dominican culture in our second home.

2- Serve as intermediaries between the Dominican community in BC and the government institutions of the DR and Canada on a voluntary basis

3- Make our culture known in BC (sports, food, folklore and Dominican traditions)

4- Help newcomers to establish themselves in the province by providing them with essential information

5- Organize activities to celebrate historical dates and events of Dominican tradition

6- Develop initiatives to help Dominicans with legal or immigration problems (undocumented).

7- Support our country in the event of a natural disaster (earthquake, hurricane, etc).

To support our community and to work on projects to promote the culture of the Dominican Republic to the larger community in BC.
